Crisp and sweet with a perfect Croccantini crunch, this is a yummy dessert option that’s sure to please!

2 very large Fuji apples

3 1/2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips

1 Tbsp coconut oil

1 cup caramels (such as Kraft caramels)

Pecans, chopped


  1. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.  Slice apples into 1/2″ pieces.  Microwave chocolate chips on high power until melted, about 2 minutes, removing them every 30 seconds to stir to prevent seizing.  When chips have fully melted, stir in coconut oil.  Dip apple slices in chocolate, and set out on baking sheet.
  2. Microwave caramels on high power until fully melted, about 45-60 seconds (or as according to the caramels’ packaging).  Drizzle melted caramel over chocolate-covered apples, and top with chopped pecans.
  3. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour, and serve.  Best if enjoyed on the same day.
